Posouzení rezidenční spokojenosti obyvatel v obci Moravská Nová Ves

This thesis deals with the assessment of citizens' residential satisfaction in Mo-ravská Nová Ves. The theoretical part defines terms related to the topic - satis-faction, residential satisfaction, quality of life and housing. Further it describes the current state by SWOT analysis and then results of the quantitative survey gained by querying. The results show that most of the areas are evaluated posi-tively and respondents are satisfied in average of 68 %. Respondents are most dissatisfied with local relationships and positively assess the availability of local transport. At the conclusion there are set out proposals to improve the residential environment and increase citizens' satisfaction such as the creation of bike paths, organizing anonymous surveys and more.
Life in suburbia through the lens of its inhabitants: case study of a municipality in the hinterland of České Budějovice

The bachelor thesis is focused on study of residential satisfaction in the suburban zone of the city České Budějovice, where one of the biggest suburbanisation effects in Czechia are described. Survey method is used to investigate the level of residential satisfaction in the specific location of suburban zone of České Budějovice. As the case locality was chosen municipality Srubec, one of the biggest suburbs in České Budějovice hinterland. The main goal is to find people's level of residential satisfaction and describe which factors have the biggest influence on residential satisfaction in the locality and which factors have positive or negative influence on the satisfaction of the residents. The survey results show that people evaluate their life conditions in the examined locality very positively. The access to the core city and the nature are considered to be the biggest positives. Residential satisfaction of seniors in selected housing estates in Prague

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate and compare the residential satisfaction of seniors aged 65 plus in three housing estates in Prague - Invalidovna, Háje and Nové Butovice, among other aspects differentiated by the date of development. The research undertaken at the turn of May and June 2011 using the method of a semi-structured interview endeavours to uncover seniors' satisfaction in several areas - basic stores and services, leisure time activities, social relationships, transport and mobility, public spaces and green areas, housing, security. In addition, the residential stability of seniors and overall residential satisfaction are assessed.
Residential satisfaction of seniors in Hradec Králové

The submitted master thesis deals with the residential satisfaction of seniors in selected parts of the city of Hradec Králové. The main aim is to evaluate and compare the residential satisfaction of seniors in Malšovice and Slezské Předměstí. In particular, the evaluation of the overall residential satisfaction and the evaluation of the residential satisfaction in relation to selected aspects of the physical environment and public amenities of the city. An analysis of the positives and the negatives of the researched districts and the shopping behavior of seniors within the city are added to these findings. This thesis is theoretically based on the current state of the research in the field of residential satisfaction and it also takes into account the results of research on the everyday life and mobility of seniors in Czech cities. On the basis of this theoretical knowledge, the evaluated public amenities and aspects of the environment that are important for a group of seniors and contribute to their residential satisfaction were selected. The research was carried out using a questionnaire survey in the streets of the surveyed districts. Open-ended and closed-ended questions were analyzed. The age of respondents was limited in this thesis to adults aged 65 years and older.
Demographic aging housing estate in Prague

This thesis examines demographic aging of housing estate in Prague and residential satisfaction of seniors. In the theoretical part the issue of demographic aging, residential satisfaction and residential stability is elaborated summary of the basis of literature. Empirical part is based on two research methods, which are the data analysis of the age structure of the population census and interviews with seniors living in the housing estate Nové Ďáblice. Two approaches were defined to work with the data, the first one compared the type of settlement development with other parts of Prague, in the second one there were defined individual settlement files with a population of more than 15 000. Carried out the research, it was found that the age structure is equalize and the current demographic situation in the settlements is determined by the period of construction of the housing estate file. Generally speaking, the earlier the settlement was established, the older population it has. In parts focused on the quality of life of older people on the estate were determined using semi-structured interviews satisfaction with the physical environment, social relationships, housing, public spaces, public facilities and services, transportation and security. Residential satisfaction on housing estate U Nádraží

This bachelor thesis deals with residential satisfaction, it's fractional aspects of their importance and relation to socio-demographic structure of a group of population, living at Kutna Hora house estate U Nádraží. The study is based on theoretical resources and satisfactory of the population, as well as problems of construction settlement. This study is focused on valuation and analysis of the results obtained via questionnaires, surveys and population census statistical data. The study implies, that the location of selected population living around this area is satisfactory and adequate for a significant segment of the local residents. However, the residental classification does imply some problems. Most of those people living at the location do not consider the place completely safe and ideal for living. Everyday Life of Mothers with Children in Suburbs and in the Inner City

EVERYDAY LIFE OF MOTHERS WITH CHILDREN IN SUBURBS AND IN THE INNER CITY Abstract The aim of this thesis is to investigate the everyday life of mothers with children in the suburban zone and in the inner city, capture differences in the time-space mobility of mothers, depending on their place of residence and find out how these activities and habits differ in different types of residential enviroments. This monitoring and evaluation was based on the method of semi-structured interviews. For the research there were chosen localities Jesenice as a representative of new housing in the suburban area and Nova Harfa as a representative of new residential areas in the inner city.
